ABOUT
Victoria Paxton is a self-taught Australian based ceramic artist working from her home studio in Perth.
All pieces has soft organic curves, exhibit a seamless dance of movement and clean lines. Stoneware clay is used and the original colours of the clay creates a unique, earthy, texture and raw personality.
All of Victoria’s work is created by hand using the coiling and slab building techniques. This technique uses minimal tools over a number of days and it can take to create a sculpture from 4-6 weeks.
This process allows for thoughtful modification of the shape, texture and balance.
